Growing the Service Delivery team

Growing and diversifying the membership makes the Plan stronger and more secure through improved pooling of risk and efficiencies. The increase in membership from this initiative has opened up a number of opportunities for our staff as we expand existing teams, and create new ones to support the changes ahead.

As part of this change, Sandy Cook has joined the CAAT Pension Plan as Manager, Employer Services. Sandy will be working closely with Bill Hurley, our experienced Team Lead for Employer Services.

Sandy has a long career in the pension industry, with over 20 years focused on pension administration, and working directly with employers. Her most recent position was as Manager, Pension Risk Analysis at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and previously as Benefits Service Manager with a major pension and benefits service provider. Sandy has worked with public and private sector pension plans. She brings strong technical knowledge and a focus on customer service. Sandy will be reaching out to introduce herself over the coming months, and will be on hand for the Employer Update on April 23.

Belinda Quinlan has taken on the role of the Manager, Transition. In her new role, Belinda facilitates the integration of new employers into the Plans’ service delivery.

Over the next few months, Sandy and Belinda will be working closely together to ensure day-to-day operations continue to meet service standards.

As we build out the expanded teams, there will be more changes, which will take effect in the next few months. Some of the current team members will begin new roles, as they take advantage of development opportunities and career advancement. In addition, we are in the process of hiring experienced pension analysts to join our team.
