Do you work part-time or on contract?

Q. How do I get an estimate of my pension?

If you are an active member you can use our Pension Estimator, with or without your most recent annual statement, to estimate your pension at different dates.

If you are within five years of retirement, you can receive up to three pension estimates per year directly from the Plan. To do so, complete and sign the Pension Estimate Request form and fax it to us at 416-673-9028, or scan and email it to member@caatpension.on.ca. The form must be signed by the member requesting the estimate.

If you have a deferred pension in the Plan (you left your pension in the Plan after terminating membership) the Pension Estimator will not produce an accurate estimate for you. Please complete and sign the Pension Estimate Request form and fax it to us at 416-673-9028, or scan and email it to member@caatpension.on.ca. The form must be signed by the member requesting the estimate.

Q. When can I expect to receive my Annual Statement?

Most annual statements will be delivered to members during the month of June each year.

Q. How do I make a pension purchase?

The first steps in making a purchase depend on whether you are interested in purchasing your period of employment prior to enrolling in the Plan, or a gap after you became a Plan member. To learn more, visit the Purchasing service page.

Q. Where can I find the Direct Deposit form?

We’ll send you a Direct Deposit form to start your pension. You'll have to complete, sign, and return the form to the CAAT Pension Plan by mail or fax. (Do not send the completed form by email as it contains personal information.)

Q. How do I report a change (e.g. change in marital status) to the Plan?

Download the Member Change of Information form. Complete the relevant sections, sign, and return the form to the CAAT Pension Plan.

Contact your employer if you are updating spouse or beneficiary information for any other workplace benefits, or if you are reporting a change of personal information (e.g. a name change due to marriage).
