Will the Plan assign a member ID to non-members?

No – only members have a member ID number. It is generated automatically when a member is added to the pension administration system.

 

Will the employers be required to include member ID in member data reports?

No. The member ID is an identifier that is used by our pension administration system only. The system itself generates the number for each member, and we use it as a unique identifier for each member.
