Board of Trustees update

As 2010 begins, three changes have been made to the membership of the Board of Trustees. Phil Cunnington, an Academic member from Centennial College and one of the last remaining original members of the Board, has retired from his position as an Academic Employee representative. Ron Golemba, a retired Academic from Centennial College, has reached the end of his appointment as an Academic Employee representative.Steve Quinlan, a retired President of Seneca College and the other last remaining original member of the Board, has retired from his position as an Employer representative.

We thank all three individuals very much for the broad knowledge base and extensive efforts that they have contributed to the Plan over the course of many years.

Mr. Cunnington was replaced by Darryl Bedford, a Professor of Information Technology from Fanshawe College. Mr. Golemba was replaced by Pierre Giroux, an OCASA member and retired administrator from Algonquin College. Mr. Giroux has in the past served on both the Board of Trustees and the Sponsors' Committee. Mr. Quinlan was replaced by John Rigsby, a Certified General Accountant who was formerly the VP Corporate Services and CFO at Loyalist College.
