Plan Sponsors and Sponsors' Committee
The CAAT Pension Plan has three Sponsors, comprising both Employer and Employee organizations. These groups launched the Plan as a separate entity in 1995. Through the Sponsors' Committee, they ensure that appropriate benefits and funding are in place.
The Sponsors' Committee is made up of four Employer and four Employee members who belong to the three groups that established the Plan. Two Co-Chairs are appointed to preside over the Committee meetings. One Co-Chair represents the Employee members and the other represents the Employer members. Each presides over the Committee meetings on a rotating basis until the end of their one-year terms.
