The Commuted Value, Pension and Service Buyback Estimators allow you to make 3 types of pension calculations. You can:

Determine the approximate Commuted Value of your CAAT Plan pension.
Estimate the pension you could receive when you retire.
Calculate the approximate cost of purchasing past service ("buybacks").

Therefore, these estimates are not binding on the CAAT Pension Plan.

Your actual entitlement to a pension, and its amount, will be officially calculated by the CAAT Pension Plan only at the date of your retirement or termination of employment. This calculation will be based on the terms of the CAAT Pension Plan in effect at that time, and on information supplied by your College. If you are within 5 years of retirement, you can contact the Plan directly for one pension estimate per calendar year. This estimate can include up to three retirement scenarios.
