The March 12 deadline for submitting your DCT data to the CAAT Plan is fast approaching. This year, we're committed to having all printed Statements delivered to your college in advance of the June 30 deadline but we can't do it without your help!
We'd like to show you how much we appreciate your efforts. If you submit your complete and accurate DCT data to us on or before the March 12 deadline, your team will receive a sweet treat from the CAAT Plan! It's our way of saying "thank you" for all the work you've done to get the DCT to us on time.
Sorting of your Annual Statements
Annual Statements are normally shipped to you in alphabetical order. You may find that this is not the best way to deliver them to your members, so this year you can ask to have your Statements sorted in a manner that's more convenient to you, either:
- Alphabetical by last name (the way they're normally sorted);
- By Status: Full-Time/Other than Regular Full-Time/LTD (and alpha within each); or
- By Occupation: Faculty/Support/ Admin (and alpha within each)
Please let your PA know as soon as possible in which order you would prefer to receive your members' Statements this year.
Filtering DCT data
Some of you have asked for instructions for filtering Annual Statement data. Filtering data allows you to group your list of members based on certain criteria. For example, a list of members turning 65 by the end of the year can be useful for scheduling retirement planning sessions. You'll find these instructions here for your convenience.
DCT webinar
Our first webinar of 2010 took place on February 18. We were quite pleased with the turnout for this session - 22 participants from 14 colleges received DCT training and a sneak peek at the new Annual Statement.
We'd like to thank those of you who took the time to provide us with your feedback following the session. Your comments have been invaluable and will help us improve our services in the future. Some of you experienced problems with the audio during the webinar, which we have traced to a telephone hardware problem on our end. We have taken steps to rectify the issue so that the audio will be clear in time for our next webinar. Please keep your comments and suggestions coming!
